Encore was originally formed by a gathering of opera enthusiasts with aspirations to bring opera out of theatres and into local communities, showcasing both established and emerging performers. This unique combination of voices allows Encore Opera  to produce a very special and unforgettable sound. 

The concerts consist of pieces from some of the most famous and well known operas to some of the most obscure. Every concert is delivered with passion, precision and a high level of professionalism that only comes with hours of rehearsal and inspirational music.

Tickets from Joan and Kevin Grisdale. £8 in advance or £9 on the door.

This Holy Week, join us for an informal Maundy Thursday communion at 7.30 pm at St Paul's, the Walk of Witness with Churches Together starting at 9.45 at the Catholic Church, and finishing at St Paul's. On Easter Sunday, join us for a wonderful service of celebration at 10 am at St Paul's, with an Easter egg hunt for children afterwards.

Book our Church Hall

Our Church Hall is available to rent for regular sessions as well as one off celebrations or meetings. We charge an hourly rate for the whole building, including the kitchen which is suitable for the serving of pre-prepared food.
